The President of the Province of Rome, Enrico Gasbarra Alderman Provincial Social Politics, Claudio Cecchini inaugurated Tuesday, November 22 the Provincial Centre for the protection of family relationships, in the Goat Mountain 23 in Rome.

With this new initiative, the Government Gasbarra aims to support adults in preventing and managing conflicts within the family, promoting actions to activate or retrieve the individual resources.
The property offers: *

reception and orientation;
* brief interventions and targeted clinical character, aimed at adults and children;
* parenting support, family mediation
* paths;
* legal and social counseling;
* listen the child.

Access to the Centre is through the "listening service", which is open from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 13.00, while Tuesday and Thursday from 14.00 to 16.00.

The Centre's activities are aimed at families, including those of different ethnicity: married couples, unmarried couples, or second-parent families who are in training in the exercise of parental difficulties, as well as in situations of conflict and / or separation.

The structure of the Goat via Monte provides a wide range of integrated services between them, offered by an interdisciplinary team composed of social workers, lawyers, mediators, psychologists, psychotherapists and family mediators. In addition, cultural mediators are able to communicate in 48 different languages, from Albanian to Chinese.

Fund for social inclusion of migrant citizens

The Ministry of Social Affairs - Directorate General of Immigration has adopted a decree of September 12, 2007 No notice 1 / 2007 to finance projects designed to promote social inclusion of migrants and their families.
The funding will be allocated 50 million euro per year, from 2007 to 2009, and will be allocated on the basis of projects to promote social integration of foreign nationals.

Deadline for submission of projects: 2 November 2007 at 13.00.

The projects, which may be submitted by the regions, autonomous provinces, local authorities, associations, organizations of entrepreneurs, employers and workers, different areas of intervention involves different areas: support for access to ' accommodation, reception of foreign students, Roma, Sinti and Travellers, the valuations of the second generation to the protection of migrant women at risk of social exclusion to the diffusion of Italian language and culture.
